Jetion Solar Supplies 133 MW Solar Modules to Spain Utility-Scale PV Project

Recently, the world-renowned PV manufacturer Jetion Solar (China) Co., Ltd. (“Jetion Solar” or “Company”) announced that it has signed a solar module supply agreement with CTIEC, the world's leading EPC contractor. According to the agreement, 133 MW of Jetion Solars high-efficiency monocrystalline PV module will be installed in a utility-scale solar power plant ("Puerto Real 1" project) in the province of Cadiz in southern Spain.

It is reported that the "Puerto Real" project is located in the administrative district of Puerto Real, in the province of Cadiz, Spain, with a total planned capacity of 283 MW. It is one of the largest unsubsidized utility-scale solar power plants currently constructed in Europe. The first phase of the project “Puerto Real 1” has a planned capacity of 133 MW and is currently in the implementation stage. The project will use more than 330,000 pieces of Jetion Solar JT SGh395W 1500V high-efficiency mono PERC PV modules. After the project is connected to the grid, it is expected to realize about 200,000 MWh every year, saving about 66,000 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 166,000 tons.

Mr. Zhao Honglei, Senior Vice President of Jetion Solar commented: “The Puerto Real project is one of the largest non-subsidized utility-scale PV projects in the Europe. Jetion Solar is very proud to be part of this flagship project. We are very glad to continue to cooperate with CTIEC and work together to push forward Europe's renewable energy development process. "
